Whelping Assist (Bespoke Service)

Bringing new life into the world is a special moment,  but it can also be stressful and unpredictable. Our professional whelping assistance ensures you and your dog are fully supported throughout the birthing process.

Once your bitch’s pregnancy is confirmed by ultrasound or other means, contact us to check our availability around her expected due date. We can then provisionally reserve your whelping support.

When labour begins, usually marked by a drop in temperature, nesting behaviour, and panting – let us know straight away. 

Our service includes:

• Hands-on delivery support
  
  

• Clearing puppies’ airways and ensuring they are breathing
  
  

• Cutting umbilical cords
  
  

• Stimulating newborns and ensuring afterbirths are delivered
  
  

• Helping puppies latch on to receive vital colostrum for their best chance of survival
  
  

With our calm, experienced approach, you can focus on your dog while we take care of the critical details.

Prices will vary.

Daytime hours -Monday-Friday 09:00 - 17:00 - £350 for the first 4hrs plus £50 per extra hour.

Evening Hours - Monday-Friday 17:00 - 08:00 - £450 for the  first 4hrs plus £50 per extra hour. 

Weekend Hours - Saturday & Sunday Anytime- £500 for the first 4 hours and then £60 per extra hour.

Mileage is free within 10 miles but chargeable after.
